Wintya: where?

Andrew and Golly are talking in the backyard. Golly asks Andrew where some people are. They are speaking Paakantyi, the language of the Aboriginal people of far western New South Wales, Australia.

She asks: Wintya Emma? (Where is Emma?)

Andrew replies: Yaparana Slaterna (At Slater’s place)

She then asks: Wintya Edna? (Where is Edna?)

Andrew replies: Munimunina kiirana (At the police station)
